Cost accumulation, allocation, and product cost methods are studied in a manufacturing setting. Course Description: Further develops listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through engagement with authentic, culturally rich oral and written texts in Spanish. Enables students to perform linguistic tasks that allow them to communicate in everyday situations with some complications (e.g., describing present, past and future activities, expressing opinions, and persuading), and to express personal meaning by creating with the language. Three class hours. Prerequisite: Passing grade in SPAN 2010; PLACE diagnostic score of 4.25-5.0; UVA placement diagnostic score of 410-535 (prior to May 2022); SAT II score of 600-640; IB Spanish B HL exam score of 5 or 6; or permission of the department.
Course Description: This course includes a basic treatment of probability, and covers inference for one and two populations, including both hypothesis testing and confidence intervals. Analysis of variance and linear regression are also covered. Applications are drawn from biology and medicine. No prior knowledge of statistics is required.
