A must take class. Coppock is a nerd but makes it interesting. A little harder than Elzinga's 201 class, but is still an easy a- if you read and go to class. Hard final
Great class. Hard final
Coppock does a pretty good job of teaching the course. He'll use a lot of examples that students can relate to in order to help them understand. His test questions can be a bit tricky sometimes, but if you do all the readings (preferably before lectures), review them, and review your lecture notes, you should be set.
great class
Start hard for final, it's much harder than the previous tests
Coppock is fantastic. He's engaging, explains concepts well, and knows exactly what he's talking about. The content is interesting and worthwhile.
Kelli Bird was my TA, she's not very good, kind of annoying, not a good teacher, and not that knowledgeable. Her discussion sections were useless, although the lectures are good enough that I'd imagine all the discussions are useless.
Coppock is possibly the best Econ professor I've ever had. EXTREMELY enjoyable. You'll have a blast in his class.
Coppock has great lectures. IF you pay attention in class and take notes, you won't have to open the book. His tests aren't easy, but they often come from the details of his lectures, so you must take notes. There's a good curve at the end of the semester.
his teaching style is much like mr. elzinga's. funny and insightful. make sure to go to lectures and you will definitely learn a lot.
