COMM 2020

He is hilarious in a unique way, you get used to some of his querks. we once counted the 80 times he said "essentially" in one class and we always laugh about his hand movements. as for the class, study the book practice problems religiously and you'll be alright. not a heavy workload but dont think the tests will be a walk in the park. difficult final in my opinion.

Wilkie is a great guy, but the way he presents the information is somewhat useless. Class is mostly pointless, just read the book and do practice problems and this class is not that hard

I found his lectures less useful than the textbook and actually working through the homework problems. Try not to leave them to the last minute - they can get frustrating!

Wilkie is the man.

good guy. useful/interesting class, but the final exam will destroy your grade; expect it to drop a full letter or more. take a week or two to prepare and hope for the best is the advice i will give. the midterms were just fine.

not really sure what prof. wilkie lectured on, but he's extremely nice and means well. you have to take it for comm major, but otherwise, i'd skip out...I found prof. erickson's class much more insightful and interesting to attend

Found class to be rather dull...didn't end up going to the majority of lectures but obviously the class is necessary for all pre-comm students

Wilkie is a really nice guy, and although accounting is known as being rather dull he at least tries to make it interesting. He's quite funny and really approachable. His grading is completely fair and his tests are just like his practice tests. If you put in the work and effort that accounting requires, you can get an a!

Wilkie is a riot in lecture, but at the end of the day all you need to succeed in this moderately difficult class is the ability to buckle down and read the text, which is excellent.

Wilkie is a cool guy. The class is the same difficulty level as Comm2010. Lecture is boring because he mostly does problems, but he does try to relate the material to real world situations. He gives you a lot of old exams and sample problems for the exams, which is a big help.
