I completely agree with the review below. Dr. Smith is a very welcoming instructor, and her room totally feels like a safe space. Each class has a reading or two, each under 20 pages, each day. There are weekly reflections where you answer three questions in bout 200 words and two major essays. I ended the class with a 96 (A). Super easy and doable class.

Professor Smith is outstanding- her classroom feels like such a safe environment that genuinely welcomes any and all perspective and input. This class is definitely reading heavy (1-2 per class) but the readings are interesting and Professor Smith always goes over any confusing sections during class time. There are short weekly reflections every week, and 2 major essays during the semester, but other than that the writing workload isn't bad at all. You'll get the most out of this class (and have the best grade) if you actively participate in class discussions and do the readings.
