Professor Clabough teaches In-Consciousness: How We Know Who We Are. This engagement studies wellbeing and stress reduction techniques. This includes controlled breathing, yoga, meditation, sound experiences, and spending time in nature. Each week was a different technique that was practiced on the first class of the week and discussed in a lecture format during the second class. Overall, this was a pretty easy engagement, but it did require more work than the average engagement outside of class. The grading was very easy, but you had to read two scientific articles and practice the technique 5 times each week. This practice took 5-10 minutes each day with a two page reflection at the end of the week. I found this class interesting and was rarely bored. The work was not overwhelming and is very doable for an easy grade, but if you don't want to be doing light work constantly throughout the week, don't take this class.
