Professor Spitzner is clearly passionate about the material, and the class content itself is interesting and discussion-based in a good way. He puts effort into creating engaging activities, and you can tell he cares about what he’s teaching.
That said, the organization of this class is honestly a nightmare. Do not take this class unless you’re okay digging through extremely long weekly emails just to figure out if you personally (not just the class) were assigned to have homework that week. There is basically no use of Canvas for assignments, deadlines, or grades. Everything is sent through massive emails with a ton of scattered links, and it’s very easy to miss things or lose track of what’s due. He literally ends his ridiculous emails with "Keep this email in a safe place whose location you will remember."
Even grade updates come as long, dense emails instead of being posted anywhere centralized, so it’s hard to tell where you actually stand in the class. It often feels like the system is set up for the professor’s convenience, not the students’.
Overall, he’s a good, engaging professor with interesting content, but the lack of structure makes the class way more frustrating than it should be. If organization matters to you at all, just be aware of what you’re signing up for.

Boring ass class. Boring ass dude. Tough sit. It just satisfies the pillar which is nice and it is an easy A but it really is not enjoyable at all and I spent every class regretting my decision to even come. I really wouldn't reccomend it is just so damn boring.
