Course Description
Pre-Requisite(s):
MAE 3220, MAE 3310, MAE 3730; Corequisite: MAE 4120
Analyze design requirements for and produce conceptual design of an aircraft. Includes synthesis of materials, structures, propulsion, flight mechanics, stability and control, interior and external configuration, cockpit design and all systems. Work in teams. Trade studies and optimization. State-of-the-art report, presentations and interimreport.
