Pre-Requisite(s): Fourth-year Commerce standing or instructor permission

Develops an analytical framework by which individuals and institutions can make optimal real estate investment and financing decisions. Emphasizes theory, concept building, financial modeling, and investment related real estate decisions. Uses the case method and industry experts to illustrate implementation of an analytical framework in evaluating both private equity and public (REIT) real estate investments.
