Shoutout Bennet really cool guy and actually passionate about the course and just being a teacher. I had him Fall 2025 its just bugged on CourseForum, but I had a great time in the class. The work wasn't really too bad and I think Bennet does a great job at actually teaching you what Product & Project Management actually is. Going in I thought I had an idea of what it was and I soon found out I was completely wrong. He has a lot of lore about him that he'll casually drop, but he's extremely qualified for this role and he pulls in his real world experiences to bring examples to some teaching concepts and overall it made it very easy to understand. There's two exams, one of ours was online because of a snow day, but I'd say they're fairly easy if you go to class and at least study a little before the exam. There's quite a few readings too, but in all honesty I never actually read them as he'll tie in concepts from the reading in a little pre-class discussion before the actual lecture. Overall had a great time, it can be a little boring at times I will not lie, but I recommend you take this class especially if you're unsure about PM and what it does.
Took this Fall 2025. Bennett is an interesting professor. More of a real-world experience kinda guy and it's evident in his lectures. He talks over slides sometimes but at times just kind of uses them as a framework to get some discussion going. He's exited from two companies and is probably very wealthy. He still does part time consulting on this sort of stuff, especially agile, on the side. Occasionally interesting classes when he drops stories from his life, but clearly doesn't know the exact definitions of a lot of this stuff because he's more industry than professor.
Not too much work before class. Do not drop points on the quizzes, they are so easy and a free 100. Exams are pretty easy as well, just practice using the concepts for the first one, and then know the definitions of all the terms and what happens in the case for the second one. The final project lowkey has a LOT of work, so start early. He rounded up my grade to an A at the end on request, he's a very chill guy. Just get clear expectations for the assignments as they are a sneaky huge part of the grade. The cases are easier.
