I had this class with Di Shao. He was really nice. It was his first time teaching, so things moved a bit slow at first, nonetheless, I did come out learning something. There were weekly online discussions on the readings, a pop quiz, a group project, and a final project (8-10 page long proposal or policy brief or movement manifesto). There was a decent amount of reading (necessary for weekly online discussions) but it was also covered in the lecture. I will say that it can get quite repetitive and can be inferable for some people, but it is never bad to learn more about the inequality in the world. #tCFfall25
