I love Prof. Wilkerson. Definitely take this class if you are either IB/Global Commerce or Management, because he is a great professor. The class is super easy, there's no group work (thank God, that's a first for the Comm School) and he has a really dry sense of humor that is quite awesome. TAKE THIS CLASS!
Wilkerson is a nice professor whose lectures can be a bit boring. He talks about current/past events in global management and business development with an emphasis on Europe. Tests are based on specific terms addressed in class and textbook reading is not essential to class discussion but some topics from the text appear on exams. One short paper on a leader of your choosing at the end of the semester #tcf2016
Professor Wilkerson is a super nice person, but his lectures can be a bit dry. His tests can be difficult, because he tests on identification terms that are completely random and you have no idea what they'll be and have to read absolutely everything in order to know maybe 8/10 of them. The essays on the tests are easier and he usually gives full credit for them as long as you kind of know what you're talking about. However, he is usually lenient with participation and the grading of the paper. Not a bad class to take overall.
The course is structured very simply. If you do the readings, attend class, and put in effort to contribute to the class, you'll be successful. Professor Wilkerson is great. He's a very cool guy who tells some interesting stories during most classes pertaining to the lessons. Would recommend for anyone looking to learn more about international management issues. #tCF2020
