Unhelpful, unresponsive, unenthusiastic, etc etc etc. I can't express in words how badly I wish this woman was retired. Sometimes I wonder how she's still alive. Seriously. She'll go over material in class, go through it in excel, and then assign us homework that's so different from anything we've done before you begin to wonder why she bothers showing up to class at all. If you actually want to learn something, choose literally any other f*cking professor. Awful.
Fraser teaches the Quantitative Analysis component, which along with Organizational Behavior and a little bit of IT, make up COMM 3050. The way that Fraser speaks is extremely boring and daydream/sleep-inducing so it is hard to pay attention to already dry material. There are two homeworks, two partner cases, and a Final. The homeworks can be difficult and confusing but her video lectures get you most of the way there. The partner cases are more straight-forward but they are timed which makes them challenging. The final is also a time crunch. You really have to know what you are doing and work quickly once the test is administered. As far as the content, the takeaway from this class is getting more experience with excel. The statistical theory behind the Excel work is not emphasized.
