Professor Davis is a great teacher who tries his best to make the class fun. Most classes are small and whole-group discussions about various prompts and are fairly engaging. Attendance is mandatory and devices are not allowed in class. Most of the work comes from writing the STS research paper and the various checkpoints associated with it. He also does make you take detailed notes on each of the pre-class readings which can get annoying, especially due to the number of readings (30+ total) and the amount of writing (~1 page of notes per reading).
