Professor Marston is a fantastic professor. I probably learned more from her than just about any other professor I have ever had, and I always found her lectures and discussions to be very engaging. That said, if test-taking is not your strong suit (i.e. you do not consistently score a 95 or above) like me, you're going to have a very difficult time getting an A in her class because 62% of your grade is determined by the only two exams. It's deceptive because you will spend a lot of time doing the many homeworks and probably do well on them, but they're only worth a combined 6% of your grade. So if you're someone who tends to earn B+/A- on exams and then rely on other assignments to get you to the A mark, that strategy does not work in this class. Therefore, the only thing I would change about her course is reducing the percentage of the final grade determined by the two exams. Otherwise, I think it is a great class and you will definitely enjoy it if you are passionate about finance and valuation.
Marston is THE BEST. She's an expert in the material, knows her stuff. One of my favorite professors in the entire university.
She explains really well about the material and always have plenty of office hour where she willingly sits down with you and goes through your problem. The material is definitely hard because it is a capstone class for Finance concentrator, but if you are taking it, take it with her.
