Econ Majors: this class is very interesting and I definitely encourage looking into it, however Econ majors, especially international concentrators, should maybe think twice. Most of the material is stuff you have seen before that Bill just glazes over to give everyone the gist of it (this may also be true for foreign affairs majors). It's fun, it's easy, you'll get a good grade, but you might not learn anything new.
Treats his students like high school seniors with senioritis. Tries to pal around with students, fails. I haven't been this frustrated in a class since terrible teachers in high school. Information is interesting, but kind of pedestrian. Just buy the text book and read it on your own, unless you just need a gut class.
Prof. Wilkerson has a lot of experience and knows his stuff. I wish lectures weren't just anecdotes with a brief touch of the information from the readings but the material is fairly basic. The only reason to attend is the attendance sheet and 10% of each midterm that is only learned by attending lecture. Easy tests.
