This might be the worst way to learn accounting. The HGG exercises don't help with concepts, the exams are difficult, and Seidman just seems like she doesn't care about her students at all.

She is really just the definition of useless. If you're looking for a class where you learn everything at home, waste your time in class and get a grade at the end, here it is.

Only recommend if you naturally get accounting. She would go over topics for half a class and consider that as teaching you the entire topic and then would test you on that during exams. HGG is terrible. She is very intimidating and tough as a professor.

Challenging class to manage with ICE but if you keep up with the work load then it's very doable.

Professor Seidman's enthusiasm made the class a lot more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise, she is committed to making sure everyone knows what is going on and relates accounting topics to current events.

Seidman was a fantastic professor! Dry sense of humor but made the class really engaging. The whole class is essentially a lecture with groupwork, which really ranged in difficulty but I was lucky enough to have a fun group, which made a huge difference. Overall I learned a lot, even in really boring/difficult sections of accounting. Seidman was ready to answer questions and explain difficult topics in ways the other professors weren't. Highly recommend her.
