COMM 3110

Easily my favorite accounting professor I've ever had. He tells you exactly what he expects out of you for exams and doesn't try to trick you. Only A I've ever gotten in accounting. I highly recommend Koch if you have to take this class.

Funniest person in comm school. All group work with either a check-, check, or check+.

Professor Koch is really great. He's really knowledgeable and approachable, so it's easy to ask for help if you don't understand things. His tests are really fair and he always tells you what he expects before hand. He's also pretty funny so that's a plus in a class like accounting.

Koch is the professor to get. He is the best out of all the COMM 311 professors. If you think the review is difficult in the beginning, drop the class...it just gets worse.

Prof. Koch is awesome. He makes accounting interesting and has a really dry sense of humor. The HGG cases are annoying, the exams are fair, but you have to keep up in the class to do well.

Koch is the best. Take him!

Great professor! Koch is the funniest guy ever....he really helps you learn the material and tells you exactly what to expect on the tests, and what you dont have to learn. 311 can be challenging at times, but if you work hard than 50% get some sort of A (A+, A, A-)

Not a bad course. If you didn't find accounting 201/202 difficult you shouldn't find this course too bad. Koch explains things fairly well and is a pretty easy grader (he said 40% get A's). The textbook can be a waste of money though. Although its probably useful if you use it, using it isn't really necessary for the vast majority of the course. This is especially true since accounting rules and whatnot are all online.

Koch is a great professor and he's very engaging. Cracks joeks during class and keeps you enthused, but also explains concepts very well. HGG (semester-long case) can be a bitch, but that's why it's a group assignment. Research exams are fair and not impossible to do well on. In-class exmas are a little tough, but again, not impossible to do well on. Definitely recommend him.
