This was actually in 2020, idk why it says 2016. Really enjoyed this class despite the fact that I didn't learn anything in it, felt a lot like just a advisory class where you can get to know other students and also talk about things that are plaguing you.

A very fun and easy COLA, with lots of silly but fun improvisational exercises. I love Dave, he's a great professor

This is the easiest COLA ever and actually really fun. I had originally only taken this because every other COLA was full and was dreading it, but I'm so glad I took it. All of my friends in other COLAs actually had to do a lot of reading and hard work, but this class has nothing to do outside of class other than occasionally filling out a happiness log or skimming a reading on meditation. The class itself is super chill and consists of exercises that help you with your confidence and public speaking skills. A lot of the activities you do are kind of weird and might seem silly, like meditating while eating a raisin, or passing around an imaginary ball of energy, but you get out of it what you put into it. I think the only graded aspects of this class are attendance and reciting a monologue on the last day of class, but as long as you show up and memorize your monologue, it's an easy A.
