I knew a few kids in my class who didn't really like his teaching style, but I thought prof. Dimou was great. He's very organized and put together, and his lectures are about as entertaining as calculus 3 lectures can be. He's a nice guy with a dry sense of humor and he is pretty helpful/accommodating with the occasional late work and things of that nature. He also brought us cookies on the last day, and overall I just thought he was a good teacher.

Professor Dimou is a great professor and doing well in his class is very manageable. before each exam he provides practice exams, but often they have absolutely disgusting values which make the problems way harder to solve than the questions on the actual exam. However, the types of questions on the practice exams often align very closely with what you will see on the exams, and these same problem types typically appear on the online (or occasionally written) homework too (so i would recommend reworking those since they have more solvable values). grade distribution was 20% each for first two exams, 25% final exam, 12.5% written hw, 12.5% online hw, 5% quizzes, and 5% attendance. professor dimou is very organized which is super helpful since you can find any and all resources which may be of use with relative ease. be warned that the first exam is 4/10 difficulty, second is 1/10 difficulty, and the final is 10/10 difficulty (friends who had him before me said this was the case and my own experience confirmed it), but there is some sort of curve for the class (i got around a 91.5 overall and got an A).
ultimately, professor dimou can come across as a little curt and cold at first but if you show you're truly interested and (more importantly) approach him with confidence he is more than willing to work with you. content is also easier and more enjoyable than calc 2 imo. would definitely recommend.
I enjoyed calculus 3 and enjoyed professor Dimou's classes. He keep his class very neat with LaTeX handouts. Content of calculus 3 is hard to grasp on the spot but I feel like professor Dimou was able to explain most of the content pretty clearly. If you are taking calculus 3, it's not a bad idea to take it with professor Dimou.
Like any Calc III class, you'll have to learn most of the content on your own. Nonetheless, Evangelos Dimou may be your best bet, since he's well-organized and will provide all the necessary tools for success. He teaches the textbook content in order, posts his worksheets and solutions online, and provides practice problems before midterms and exams. Additionally, instead of just solving random problems on the board each lecture, he provides everyone with a lesson sheet that teaches the valuable concepts and then reinforces them through simple practice problems. Besides that, there will be two weekly online hw assignments and a biweekly written hw. These will take about 30min - 1.5hr each to complete, but you'd probably have to study on your own otherwise, and they help ensure that you understand the content. Furthermore, the exams are straightforward, following similar problems to those done in class and being easier than the practice exam. The one caveat I have is that Mr. Dimou frequently asks the class simple questions as we're working along, like "What's 1+3", and if no one responds he'll abruptly stop and stare at the class like we're all idiots until someone responds. Nonetheless, this remains a fair and reasonable course, and although Mr. Dimou can't magically enlighten you with a calculus ability, he'll provide you with every necessary tool to learn it yourself.
