If you're looking for an easy A math class and wondering if Christopher Lloyd is a decent instructor to take it with, he is!! I will say, he is SUPER smart and obviously passionate about mathematics, so when I took the course he sometimes struggled to dumb it down enough for us non-STEM/ non-math folks. It's also just generally a pretty boring topic, so it is not at all an exciting class and can be hard to sit through lectures sometimes. But, he definitely knows what he's talking about and is willing to help you if you ask him for extra help. Generally, I would recommend you form a little study group with 1-2 other people in the class and work through old quizzes and homework/classwork before quizzes and tests if you can. Questions you've already seen/ solved will DEFINITELY show up again, and it sucks when you know you've seen it before but just can't remember how to solve it. So look over previous quizzes and assignments! When I took it (pre-covid) there were weekly quizzes, but they were usually pretty short and not too bad. He also dropped the lowest 2 quiz grades, which was a huge help. We had a few homework assignments but most of the work was done in-class when he gave examples, so take good in-depth notes to look over and you should be fine! There is a midterm exam and a final exam.
