This class has a lot of potential, and I enjoyed most of the books we read. Unfortunately, the assignment descriptions are frustratingly vague, and the course schedule is unclear. This is the first semester of the class, so hopefully the details get worked out. The professor clearly cares about the class and her students.
From a grading standpoint, Professor Hamilton is definitely willing to work with you, and we were able to revise past work for partial points back. One thing worth knowing is that this professor can sometimes resist alternative perspectives or interrupt students. Mostly, I think it was fine, but some of my class friends mentioned not wanting to participate and feeling discouraged. I probably wouldn't take the class again just because of how confusing it was from start to finish. But not a bad option, and maybe it will be better in future semesters.
