Overall I liked this class! I think this by far has been the best Batten core class, as the information we learned was actually tangible and applicable to the real world unlike the BS we learned in EPC and Behavioral Science. The class consists of Homework’s, Take-Home quizzes, 2 exams, attendance, and a group project. There were a lot of easy A Opportunities in this course, but it is important to note both exams were difficult. Prof. Simon was awesome, and I really enjoyed his sense of humor during lecture. You can tell he is a very math-oriented person as he would sometimes explain concepts very mathematically, but nonetheless was a very effective professor. He truly wants the best for his students and I found him to be super approachable and helpful. Prof. Simon was also super open to feedback, and always wants to know ways in which he can improve his class. Though there is discussion section for this class, you only have to go to six throughout the semester, so once I hit my 6 I stopped going since it was kind of useless. I tend to be Econ inclined but if you really hated Micro, you will struggle with the first half of the course. Nonetheless Prof. Simon provides plenty of opportunities for practice and resources. I thought this class was so MUCH better than RMDA in terms the LPPA requirements. Overall I really enjoyed this class!

The first half of this class was pretty difficult content-wise, especially for many Batten students who haven't taken many econ/math classes. Professor Simon is incredibly smart, but sometimes the way he described the material was very math heavy. However, he consistently asked for feedback and talked with Batten staff and his TAs to improve the course. By the time the second midterm came around, I think the majority of the class felt much better about the class. The content gets easier to understand as the course progresses and the work out of class is minimal. This will be a great class next semester.
