This was such an enjoyable class and is a great way to complete a second writing requirement or explore a new topic. Because this is a summer course, and is therefore condensed, there is quite a bit of reading each week. However, the works that we read were so engaging and interesting that the pages seemed to pass quickly. Also, the writing style of the Prose Edda isn't challenging and is great for those who dislike immensely descriptive work. It is full of dialogue! The other works in class take on a similar fashion and expand upon the lore you learn about in the beginning. Also, the writing prompts are easy with your final being a creative write!
