This class was such a nice break and relief from the E-school. I took this because I was looking for a chill, fun class that was also interesting. I really love social media and this class was perfect. Very minimal work! Grade is mostly dependent on projects. There were 3 group projects (you stay with the same group the entire semester) each worth 20%. You also were required to do google analytics certificate (just doing it is an automatic 100) which was worth 15%. The rest of the grades are just participation.
Amazing amazing professor. Nicole truly is the sweetest human being you will ever meet and the information in this class is really interesting! You talk about Google, Netflix, marketing, Tiktok, and so much more.
Nicole understands as the semester goes on, you get "semester fatigue" and kinda check out. So, she actually makes the class shorter as the semester goes on. It is NEVER 3 hours!!

This course is super fun and easy to follow along with. Professor Montgomery is such a joy to be in class with and conducts the class in an easy to follow way. I would totally recommend this for anyone who is interested in learning in-depth about the industry and about social media and analytics. Very informative and not much outside classwork other than a couple group projects.
I highly recommend this class not only to marketing concentrations, but anyone interested in social media. All the assignments are a lot of fun and Professor Montgomery grades very kindly. The class consists of a few different group projects and a couple of individual ones. Not really a final project or final exam. Her teaching style is extremely engaging and I found I was never bored!
