Meh it was fine. Nothing unfair, nothing crazy. I don't think Prof. Yang was particularly passionate about the topic but was kinda just forced to teach the class. He's a good guy who is pretty fun and has some cool stories to share, but he isn't particularly passionate about ecology, moreso remote sensing stuff. Exams are nothing crazy, basically just memorization of slides which I find to be pretty lame but whatever.

I thought Prof Yang was very personable and nice, he always tried to make the lectures engaging and I liked his little anecdotes about game of thrones, his cats, etc. I also thought his tests were extremely fair, there were never any surprises and he gave us a drop test which was replaced by an average of the other two. the final was just 25 mcq, some pulled from the previous tests so if you go to lecture, take notes and pay attention, you will definitely be fine.
