Louca is great and very enthusiastic about the material. I was a big fan of this course despite the 9:30 time slot. The homeworks weren't too bad, as most of the problems required searching through the book for the correct formula but weren't terribly involved. The tests were long - almost too long, but just barely doable in the times allotted. Condensed Matter is a broad topic with a lot of concepts to cover, so it feels like you jump around a lot, which can make it a difficult class.
