Dean Roberts works for Rolls-Royce. He is very knowledgeable about the aerospace industry. The class is about different countries and how they perform in the aerospace industry, about political influence on the manufacturing sector and about complex product systems. The class is very interesting to get to know how the manufacturing business works on a global level. Half of the class consists of engineering grad students. Often times Roberts invites great guest speakers. At the end of the course, we visited a modern Rolly-Royce manufacturing facility near Richmond.
