Analyzes such films as Citizen Kane, Touch of Evil, Vertigo, and Psycho, examining what makes them work and looking at the cultural and historical context of the films.

Analyzes the histories and theories underlying media and popular culture; focusing on print, film, radio, television, the internet, and social media.
