Club Description
The purpose of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)@UVA shall be to provide a means for students at University of Virginia to meet and fulfill the mission of LLS. The official mission of our national affiliate, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is “to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.” This organization will provide a forum for discussion, education, awareness, funding, and support of our shared interest in making an impact in the fight against blood cancer. LLS@UVA will provide a place to participate in various interactions such as service, advocacy efforts, education, fundraising and facilitate events tailored to our organizational interests.
