Team Hoyt at UVA

Club Description

Team Hoyt at UVA is a subsidiary of a national organization and aspires to build the individual character, self-confidence and self-esteem of America’s disabled young people through inclusion in all facets of daily life. We provide the opportunity for physically and mentally disabled athletes to participate in races through the use of guides and strollers. In these races, people will sign up to either push or ride and are subsequently paired up. All the athletes come from local schools, organizations, and communities in order to unite people of different backgrounds and raise awareness of different disabilities.
