Club Description

MEDLIFE is a non-profit organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development projects. As a student organization, our goal is to promote awareness of global health issues and also provide those interested with the opportunity to participate in mobile clinics throughout South America. On these clinics, students work in cooperation with local healthcare professionals to provide healthcare to communities who otherwise have no access to healthcare. We also empower students and volunteers to become advocates for change by not only helping internationally, but also locally in the Charlottesville community.
