Club Description

The University Democrats at the University of Virginia serves as the arm of the Democratic Party here at UVa. Through meetings, campaigning, events, and educational programs, we seek to inform students about the values and issues of the Democratic Party, and to link students to the wider political and Charlottesville community. We hold weekly meetings that bring in guest speakers from the political or academic world to speak about pertinent Democratic issues, and also host and attend a variety of political and social events throughout the year.
