Women's Recreational Lacrosse Club at the University of Virginia

Club Description

Women's Recreational Lacrosse Club at UVA was created in order to give young women the opportunity to play lacrosse in a more relaxed atmosphere than the Club team. Each semester, a number of teams will be drafted and balanced according to position and experience level. These teams will each receive a game schedule, and will scrimmage each other every Sunday at The Park. Players will be required to provide their own protective equipment (eye goggles, mouthguard) as well as their own stick in order to play. Off the field, social events will be promoted, including team dinners/lunches and outings to Women's Varsity games.
