Pre-Requisite(s): Admission to BPHM or BIS Program

Examines health issues from a population health perspective of policy and programs; introduces students to principles of population health practice with emphasis on history, philosophy and scope. Examines how health care delivery systems, public health agencies and community organizations work together to develop interventions to improve the health outcomes in the various communities they serve.
