Club Description

VIAS is dedicated to promoting international arbitration at the University of Virginia by facilitating discussion about it among students, academics, and practitioners, mainly through sponsoring events and workshops and competing in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. VIAS aims to provide professional, academic, and social support for students interested in international arbitration and dispute resolution. To that end, VIAS trains members to compete in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, connects them to a network of mentors, scholars, and resources, and provides them with a platform to engage with cutting-edge issues in international arbitration.
