SoulAAn Student Union (SSU) at the University of Virginia is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich culture and heritage of generational African Americans. Our mission is to illuminate the profound legacy of American enslaved people and their descendants, whose resilience and contributions have shaped the fabric of this nation.
