Lambda Law Alliance

Club Description

Lambda Law Alliance provides a network for members of the LGBTQ+ community at the Law School, as well their families and allies. The organization focuses on three main areas: professional development, advocacy, and community engagement. To that end, Lambda connects students with queer attorneys in public and private practice; promotes advocacy and pro bono opportunities; and helps to form queer friendship and allyship across class years. In addition, Lambda seeks to highlight legal issues relevant to the community at the Law School, in Charlottesville, and in Virginia more broadly.
