Course Description

Pre-Requisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education Program

Study of curriculum, instruction, and assessment with a focus on promoting student engagement and academic progress. Topics include the selection and use of curricula to develop high-quality learning experiences; the development of effective assessment practices; and how curricular, instructional, and assessment decisions can be responsive to the needs of diverse students in P-12 classrooms.
