Course Description

Pre-Requisite(s): Counselor Education doctoral student or instructor permission

This course is designed for advanced graduate students admitted to the counselor education program, or, with instructor approval, another doctoral program in the Curry School of Education. The course pvodies an extensive study of contemporary issues and trends in student research. The purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to examine the state of research in counseling or in their field, and based on this, to identify the subject of and prepare for the start of their doctoral dissertation study by designing a study and preparing a proposal.
