Shakespeare in Performance
Course Description
Performance is central to understanding Shakespeare. In this course students will learn analysis and performance techniques that they'll use to stage two soliloquies from Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night. Students will also watch multiple recording performances and read performance interpretations. Finally, students will combine the learning from their performances and analysis of the plays and with this approach, students will develop a significant and in-depth understanding of the plays.
