Introduction to Design of Structural Systems

Course Description

Pre-Requisite(s): CE3300 or equivalent

Introduction of concepts, approaches, procedures, and codes for the design of civil structural systems with emphasis on the characterization of structural loads, structural systems and system behavior on structural systems constructed of steel and reinforced concrete. Topics to include engineering properties of materials, design and behavior of compression members, flexural members, and tension members.
