Introduction to Green Engineering

Course Description

Pre-Requisite(s): College Chemistry, and CE 2100 or Energy/Mass Balances

A hands-on overview in systems thinking as it relates to infrastructure and sustainability analysis. Students will learn quantitative tools to analyze complex socio-technical systems with a focus on water, energy, transportation, buildings, and food. Students will undertake an open-ended, team-based life cycle assessment project on a topic of their choice.
