Course Description

An intensive introduction intended for Biology majors and pre-health (med, vet, dental) students. Fundamentals of cell biology (energetics, signaling, division, protein structure/function) and genetics (gene transmission, expression and regulation) are covered, with a focus on classical and modern experimental approaches. Includes optional weekly discussion/review session.
