I posted a review here before... now it's gone. Interesting!
This class is 100% MEMORIZATION of traditional Chinese characters and nothing else. Coursework includes tedious copying of lengthy stories. You are expected to memorize 600+ traditional characters. The syllabus quickly goes out the window in favor of even more work than you signed up for. If you do not speak Chinese fluently, do not take this class. It should be a requirement. If you have to take it for your major, I'm really sorry.
