Took this in the fall but that wasn't listed for whatever reason. The subject is "Race and Engineering".
The format of the course is kind of a "flipped classroom": we're assigned readings and a film each week and we discuss in class while the professor takes a backseat. There were around 20 students so if you don't like discussion there isn't much place to hide. Also, it's one 2h30 block a week, which is a lot on Zoom.
The course is still in its early stages, but the material is really interesting and really important. I greatly expanded my worldview and knowledge of systemic racism and its place in engineering.
