Great class and great professor. Lambert is an engaging professor who really tries to make the material understandable. Your grade consists of attendance (if the room is emptier than usual she will take attendance), participation, a midterm, research paper, and final. This class is definitely manageable and if you put in the work you can get an A. Lambert is a fairly easy grader, but I'm pretty sure she grades you easier based on whether or not you participate in class and go to office hours.
Professor Lambert is extremely knowledgable about 16th century Europe. Her lectures aren't always thrilling, but if you pay attention, this class is not difficult. Readings are usually discussed in class - if you don't read them then go to class so you can find out the main points in each one. Grade is made up of a midterm, final, 1 paper and participation. She's an easy grader, you don't need to study too hard - just go to class to get an A.
