avoid this class unless you absolutely have to take it or have a huge background in Morphology. As an undergrad Linguistics major I felt like I had no idea what I was doing compared to the grad students in the class. Lise has unorganized and random lectures that do not help you learn anything. There are no Powerpoints, outlines or any direction of the course and I learned nothing except how to BS homework assignments and trying to look like I know what I'm doing.
