Professor Morris really cares about her students and tries to help and understand everyone. She can be funny sometimes and is just a great professor

Excellent course, excellent professor

The best math course at UVA! Professor Morris cares a lot about her students and was very accommodating when we switched to online course.

Professor Morris is extremely kind and loves her students. And she loves her job and is good at teaching. But that being said, she was very disorganized on certain things. The schedule felt like it was constantly changing, and on Zoom, her kids would constantly be yelling in the background or interrupting her while she was teaching. I don't have anything against that necessarily, but it got very distracting sometimes. The content is pretty tough, but Morris has office hours and is very helpful. I just really had a tough time in this class, but it is manageable if you are on top of things.

I would say Morris is the best Professor for diff eq. Her quizzes were the most fair and her detailed section notes with examples definitely helps with understanding the material. The class is a pain in the neck and isn’t easy, but take it with Morris if you can.
