Alright class, lots of reading but for the most part understandable concepts. Makarova isn't the most engaging lecturer and at times seems lost about how to spend time in class or what to go over, but she is very knowledgeable about this topic an incredibly nice person! Nice grader. Eight miniature essay "journals" to go along with reading, one midterm and same format final, both in class. One research paper, 8-10 Pages. Not 100% engaging, but it was an enjoyable class with a followable topic.
