Ben Helms is a great guy. He's young and understanding of the college life. He gets straight to business. I took this class online. In this class, you'll learn about international trade, exchange rates, multinational corporations, migration, and how individuals form their preferences about these topics. For graded assignments, there are the midterm, final, and a short research paper. Although there aren't more smaller things to earn you points, you can easily do well if you study for the exams. As for the paper, go to Ben for help in office hours. He will give you ideas and sources to use. During lectures, he will have easy to understand slides, and you need to take notes because he will not post them. The only downside about the class is the readings. Most of them are very long, but there is often a conclusion/summary section at the end. Read that and you'll be fine. Participation also isn't that hard - Ben asks questions about stuff that he's gone over, and he'll rephrase till someone gets it.
This class is not a heavy class at all in either politics or economics. I recommend the class if you're at all interested in either topic. It is relevant and informative about people's opinions about different topics. #tCF2020
